Privacy policy

Short version: Gigapolis runs on your computer. It doesn't upload your files, file names or scan results anywhere, and the app has no analytics or tracking.

What stays on your computer

Disk scans, the 3D city, file lists, photo comparisons and settings are all processed and stored locally. Full Disk Access (Mac) is only used to measure and clean files on your machine.

What the app sends

• Update checks. Gigapolis asks GitHub (github.com) if a new version is available, a few times a day. GitHub sees your IP address, as with any download.
• Pro licence. When you enter a licence key, it's checked with our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. Only the key and a device name are sent.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. They collect your name, email and payment details to process the order and send your licence key. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy. We never see your card details.

This website

This site uses no cookies. To know how many people visit and download, it counts each visit and download click as a daily total, with only the platform (Mac or Windows), the name of the site that linked here (for example a download site) and the country Cloudflare reports. No IP addresses, identifiers or fingerprints are stored, and nothing is shared or sold. The download buttons ask GitHub for the latest version number. If you use the refund page, your email and licence key are sent to Lemon Squeezy to find and refund your order, and are not stored by us.
